Your VA benefits work here.

The Foreign Medical Program (FMP) is a VA benefit that covers medical care for veterans with service-connected conditions while living outside the United States. iWellness is FMP-authorized — we provide the care, file the claim, and you receive treatment at no cost for covered services.

Who is eligible?

You qualify for FMP if you meet ALL of the following:

  • You are a U.S. veteran with one or more VA-rated service-connected disabilities
  • You live outside the United States (the Dominican Republic qualifies)
  • Your medical care is for treatment of a service-connected condition

How it works at iWellness

    We verify your FMP eligibility before your first visit (we can help if you're not yet enrolled)

  2. 2

    You receive care for your service-connected condition

  3. 3

    We file the FMP claim on your behalf — no paperwork on your side

  4. 4

    The VA reimburses for covered services. You pay nothing out of pocket

What FMP does NOT cover

Routine care unrelated to your service-connected condition is not covered by FMP. We can help you understand which of your conditions qualify, and discuss self-pay options for non-covered care (we offer competitive cash prices).
